Raspberries are done for 2008; check back in September 2009.

Wegmeyer Farms grows two different varieties of raspberries - Heritage and Caroline. Both varieties offer superior large, sweet red raspberries. Our raspberries are ideal for eating, canning, freezing, jam and jelly.

Our raspberries are irrigated and grown in a protected area with grassy walkways for easy picking. Raspberries are $5 a pint.

Raspberry Care Tips

Handle raspberries with care, as they are delicate and can crush easily.

Raspberries will keep for a few days in the refrigerator.

Do not wash berries until ready to use. Then wash gently and briefly under cold water and drain on paper towels.

Raspberries are great for freezing. To freeze, place in plastic freezer containers and freeze. They will keep for up to a year in the freezer and can be used frozen in recipes.
