RaspberriesRaspberries
Raspberries are done for 2008; check back in September 2009.

Wegmeyer Farms grows two different varieties of raspberries - Heritage and Caroline. Both varieties offer superior large, sweet red raspberries. Our raspberries are ideal for eating, canning, freezing, jam and jelly.

Our raspberries are irrigated and grown in a protected area with grassy walkways for easy picking. Raspberries are $5 a pint.

Raspberry Care Tips

  • Handle raspberries with care, as they are delicate and can crush easily.
  • Raspberries will keep for a few days in the refrigerator.
  • Do not wash berries until ready to use. Then wash gently and briefly under cold water and drain on paper towels.
  • Raspberries are great for freezing. To freeze, place in plastic freezer containers and freeze. They will keep for up to a year in the freezer and can be used frozen in recipes.
